CRITIQUE
I would like to thank the Cairn Terrier Club and the exhibitors for a very enjoyable day. Although it was a small entry I found some good quality cairns and was pleased with most of the exhibits in both dog and bitch line ups.
Most exhibits had very good heads, overall balance and construction was good. On the minus side I found some very dark eyes, only one poor mouth, some very indifferent rear movement and some in between coats.

1st Cameron`s CH. STRYVELING IVANHOE
8 yr old dark brindle of very good cairn type, excellent head and expression, good overall balance and moved with plenty of drive.
Have judged him before and awarded him top honours and he pushed in the challenge today.
2ND Miller`s BIRSELAW BROGACH OF CORNTON
Another, dark brindle of 9 years in very good condition, well balanced though out, moved quite well.

Dark brindle of 7 yrs, very good feminine head and expression, well constructed front and rear, coat of good quality, moved better in front.
2nd Ough`s OCEDAR MORNING STAR
8yr old Light Red with nice head, coat of good texture, movement a little wayward.

Grey Brindle, another good masculine head, well put together front and strong rear end, moved well, in between coats.
