Cairn Terrier Club Members’ Limited Show 24 June 2007
I would like to thank the CTC for inviting me to judge this show and for their hospitality and gift I received on the day.
MP Dog (1)
1. Catto’s Birselaw What a Moment
Beautiful wheaten brindle puppy, full of life. In full jacket of correct texture. Good head and expression. Correct mouth, topline and tailset. Moved very well for one so young. B Puppy.
Puppy Dog (2)
1. Smith’s Rocasovale Razzle Dazzle
Nice upstanding red brindle, good head, correct bite, straight front. Moved well, new coat coming through.
2. Smith’s Strathview Country Squire
Red brindle, very similar to 1. Masculine head with typical expression. Level topline, good bend of stifle, showed well.
Junior Dog (1)
1. Cattos’ Birselaw Daydream Believer
Well balanced wheaten dog. Nice textured coat, good head, neat ears, good mouth, moved and showed well. Res BIS
Novice Dog (1)

1. Percy’s Winetta Jimmy Mack
Eye catching red brindle, all male. Beautiful masculine head, dark eye, neat ears, good reach of neck, held topline on the move. Moved with drive, showed well. BD & BIS
2. Chirnside’s Soutra Little Lion
Wheaten brindle, nice head, correct mouth. Moved well in front & showed well.
3. Wilson’s Kilnknowe Gift of Myrhh
Open Dog (6, 2A)
1. Cameron’s Stryveling Robb Ruadh
In rich red jacket of correct texture, well balanced, good mouth. Level topline. Good front & movement, showed well.
2. Jeffrey’s Sandaig Shearer
Wheaten brindle in full jacket, nice head and expression. Correct mouth & ear set, moved well.

1. Miller’s Birselaw Brogach of Cornton
9 year old grey brindle dog, nice head, dark eye, moved steadily. Enjoyed her day.
2. Sofio’s Aberforth Airy Fairy
13 year old grey brindle bitch, nice head. A credit to her owner, in good shape for her years.

Grey brindle dog, nice outline, a little short on coat but of correct texture & moved OK.

Very feminine wheaten brindle in good coat. Lovely head & expression, good reach of neck, moved & showed well.
Puppy Bitch (5)
1. Smith’s Strathview Country Grace
Very smart feminine red with dark points. Clean outline & a good flow of neck. Beautiful topline which she held on the move. Good mouth, correct tailset. Moved with drive, just needed a little more coat to complete the picture. Best Bitch Puppy & RBB
2. Cattos’ Birselaw Just a Moment
Another lovely puppy a little smaller than 1st but well balanced, in full wheaten brindle jacket. Correct bite, dark eye. Moved with drive when settled, showed well.

1. Percy’s Winetta “A” You’re Adorable
Lovely wheaten, typical head, keen expression. Good mouth, clean shoulders and straight front, good rear movement. Covered the ring with drive. Needs a little more coat, showed all out. BB & BOS
2. Shaw’s Honeyhall Headstrong
Smart grey brindle, excelled in head with dark eyes & neat ears. Good tailset, moved and showed well.

2. Gisbey’s Ailsacraig Pure Magic, red brindle a little short on coat, well balanced & showed well.
3. Miller’s Cornton Riabhach
P G Bitch (5)
1. Berrecloth’s Sybster Summer Nights
Good harsh wheaten jacket, nice head, correct tailset. Moved well and responded well to handler
2. Latto’s Minorcas Shoe String at Pinetop
Silver brindle of finer bone, make & shape than 1st. Moved well in front, showed OK
3. Miller’s Cornton Ruadh
Open Bitch (6, 1A)
1. Jeffrey’s Sandaig Suilean Dubh
Bitch with profuse grey brindle coat of correct texture which to some extent camouflaged her outline. Very attractive head & expression, good bend of stifle, moved well.
2. Berrecloth’s Sybster Spring into Summer
Grey brindle in good textured coat but needed more coat under belly to improve overall picture. Nice head & mouth, showed & moved well.
